Web2Desk is a tool to convert your favorite websites to Desktop app in just one click. Regardless of Platform( Mac, Linux, Windows) we got it covered and it's free!
Just converted our team collaboration and project management tool "SquidHub" into the desktop app :) Nice job guys!
One question though: From our web app we can ensure that people are logged in when they open the site again. Can you achieve that with Web2Desk as well? For most users its crucial that they don't have to type username and password everytime they open the application.
Thanks :)
@andreasoverbeck Glad to see that you made app for SquidHub. You don't have to login every time. It'll work as it does in the browser.

@saleeh Thanks. Apparently, I ran the .exe file again instead of using the installed app on the desktop. My bad ;)
Is there something in the pipeline to automatically upgrade the desktop app once new updates are applied to the web app? Things move fast on most web apps, so in order for users not to constantly have to download a new desktop app and re-install it would be great (seen from a user's perspective).

Loved it - I've been thinking of making a native app for my SaaS product's web dashboard, but have been too lazy :) Web2Desk is perfect for me!
Pros:- Config took just seconds: all it needed was the URL, name and icon
- Supports MacOS, Windows and Linux
- Downloads ready in < 5 min
Cons:- MacOS download was ~140MB compared to ~50MB for Windows/Linux
- No advanced settings (yet?)
