AppTela for macOS - Organize your apps, your way
by•
AppTela replaces Launchpad with something worth using. Organize apps across Screens, Categories, Groups and Stacks. Stack apps visually and click to expand, or use Launch Stacks to open multiple apps at once. Compact, wide or fullscreen. Glass mode for transparency. Shadow Time casts directional shadows based on time of day. Choose from built-in backdrops, your own wallpapers or gradient fills. Customise colours, icons and borders with live preview. Native SwiftUI. One-time purchase.

I had enough with Launchpad. You can't organize anything properly, you can't resize it, and somehow they made it worse with Tahoe. I looked at everything else out there and nothing really does it properly. Most feel half-finished - another grid of icons with a search bar and not much else.
So I built my own.
AppTela lets you create multiple Screens and switch between them instantly. Organize apps into Categories and Groups, with Groups inside Groups if you want to go deep.
My favourite feature is Stacks. Visually stack apps on top of each other and click to expand. Then there's Launch Stacks - one click opens every app in the stack. I use one every morning to fire up my whole dev setup.
I also got a bit obsessive with the visual side. There's a shadow engine called Shadow Time that casts directional shadows based on the time of day. Glass mode, custom backgrounds, full colour and size control for everything. Honestly you can waste a good hour just tweaking it.
Native SwiftUI. One-time purchase, no subscription.
I have got a few promo codes if anyone wants to try it - just drop a comment.
