Aucast 2.0 - Offline podcast & audiobook player for MP3/AAC/M4A

by
Aucast is a simple iPhone/iPad audio player built for listening on the go. Import your podcasts or audiobooks in common formats (MP3, AAC, M4A), listen offline, and pick up exactly where you left off. What’s different: instead of locking you into a streaming ecosystem, Aucast focuses on your files—with easy importing (Dropbox auto-import folder + AirDrop), progress saving, optional auto-delete after finishing, and Siri/Shortcuts support for quick playback workflows.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m relaunching Aucast, a lightweight offline podcast + audiobook player for iPhone and iPad. Why I built it: I wanted a no-fuss way to listen while traveling or commuting—without depending on streaming or spotty connections. A lot of apps are great for discovery, but I kept needing something that simply plays the audio I already have (podcast files, downloaded episodes, audiobook files). What Aucast does: import MP3/AAC/M4A via Dropbox auto-import or AirDrop, keep your listening progress, optionally auto-delete finished files, and use Siri/Shortcuts to make listening frictionless.
