Aviyel team showed me a demo of this new platform last week. I can honestly say this is by far the best initiative to incentivize open source contributions. My main concern with something like this was the additional work the maintainers might need to do, but I can rest assured knowing that it makes the life of the maintainers easy. With an initial setup, you are good to go. Another essential distinction Aviyel made here was to make it easy to track and recognize non-code contributions. Non-code contributions are often overlooked, and they are pretty tricky to track. Building an all-in-one place to track such contributions makes it easy for the maintainers to track and ask for non-code contributions. I can't wait to see what you guys build next!
