Looks like a neat idea! The new balloon name is confusing as it doesn't accept every character. I agree with @notrab that URLs should be random. Nice UI though even if the background of the balloon on the upload page is a slightly different colour :)
It's a great idea, just not sure for which cases, as my designers and other members of the team already have a Dropbox account, and we all have shared folders to send and receive documents. And to request files from friends, Dropbox already have this feature. I find that the minimalist idea is cute, but it's easy to get lost on what to do next or if what I did was right or not. Also, a recommendation, while creating my ballon I put an uppercase (wanted to write My Ballon), I started writing "M" and it didn't write anything, I thought it was broken, maybe just show it in lowercase :)

I would personally pay for this product from a business perspective if I could also white label or brand it with my business logo and name in order to send to clients when they need to upload documents to me. Unfortunately a screen with a balloon on it is not going to give the professional look that that is satisfactory (for that purpose). Otherwise if that option becomes available I would certainly jump all over it because the simplicity of the app - in that that's all it does - is perfect.
Every other app that offers such, has a ton of other features such as document tracking and a bunch of superfluous stuff that for us is not needed.
We simply need a branded portal for clients to easily understand how to upload information.

The option to customize or brand it (even for personal use "Susie's Pictures - even by doing so on a personal level the recipient will have a lot more comfort knowing they are at the right place)
