today I want to share some exciting news with you about Basket Score—something that will completely revolutionize the way games are streamed.
Introducing the new AI-powered scoreboard reader.
Starting November 17, you’ll be able to update scoreboard data in real time simply by pointing your camera at the physical scoreboard in the arena 🔥.
@ScoreSight will then convert the physical scoreboard into a data stream and send it to Basket Score via the new Basket Score Relay.
Finally, you won’t have to manually update your scoreboards during games anymore—everything will be done automatically, and you’ll only have to focus on directing the broadcast!

Can an operator correct a misread score without the next camera frame overwriting it? A temporary manual override would give the broadcaster a way to recover while the camera view is obstructed.
@al_kub Thanks for the idea, Aleksandr! Yes, the user will be able to edit the data read by ScoreSight before the next reading. It's a good idea to allow users to temporarily switch to manual data entry in case something goes wrong with the real-time reading.
