Been following @caseyneistat for awhile and anticipating this, he also inspired me to start vlogging. Being someone who has created a UGC tool for the masses (speak to animate), I think the gamble for Beme is how interesting RAW raw content will continue to be. It’s hard enough to create interesting content with effort and creativity, but like with anything, once people figure out how to make the format work in a way that IS interesting, they will rise above the rest. I feel like Vine learned that and really started to get interesting once they allowed access to the Camera Roll, and is certainly how they engaged brands.
I’m personally interested in trying this because so much of my own social media posts are geared specifically towards positivity and behavior change with polished content, which entails a lot of thought and work in how I post, versus turning the camera on myself. Vlogging was meant to turn the camera on myself, but requires so much time transferring and organizing footage, editing, and thinking about story arc. Using this will be nice to expose the opposite of polish and to be super quick and BTS of life.
Not sure of its features yet, since I’m still looking for an invite code, but I already know I’d love to replay the collection of my raw moments to relive, otherwise it’s just a blackhole and all I’m doing is hoping for people to validate my moments with whatever facial expression they send back. Vlogging is special because it reminds me of all of the little things, and I think this has that potential, same vein at 1 Second A Day.
All that said, anyone have an invite? :)

I'd love to try this out with musicians at Sony! Invite code would be great! Thanks! Username: tommullen
