Blocks - Your team’s wireframing tool, right from Figma

The best products start with great collaboration on low-fidelity wireframes. Blocks is a Figma plugin that features a library of components so you can create low-fidelity wireframes with your whole team - in minutes.

I remember very well how we used to wireframe back in the day. I also remember how this early process was at the center of eFounders' building strategy, and how we could spend hours brainstorming on UI/UX matters. No wonder why so many great products came out of the studio in just a few years. So let's just say it, @tiboel -> you just killed moqups .com 😉

@tiboel @quentinvllrd Thanks Quentin! You're making us blush 🤗

Congrats on the launch guys! Such a useful tool to test things rapidly at the beginning of a project – makes me think of Balsamiq, but it’s so much more powerful to have it in Figma directly!

Thx @robi ! We loved Balsamiq too, but then Figma came along, and we started focusing more on the design than the content. That was our mistake. So, we created this plugin to bring back low-fidelity wireframes.

Hey, congrats on the launch! At first, I was a bit confused about why it used the entire width of my workspace, so I resized it. Then it clicked—it's like a spice rack above the stove, keeping everything within easy reach. I do have a few questions, though. What sets this product apart from a published Figma library that I could customize and upgrade myself? With design systems like Primer or IBM Carbon, I can create and modify components with a lot of flexibility. I understand your product is aimed at low-fidelity wireframes, but it seems a shared Figma library offers similar functionality with added customization options. Could you explain the specific advantages your product has over these established design systems or other wireframing libraries?

Hey @ohasten! Great question, it actually all started with a library like the ones you mentioned. We just made sure to keep only the ~20 most useful components to build our UI Kit, not a full design system. This way, there’s no need to search or browse items through multiple nested groups—everything is accessible with one click. Each component has a set of predefined variables that you can easily tweak to speed up the creation process unlike most design systems. We're not building pixel perfect designs so our needs were different. We used this kit internally for years and it was called frame at that time. When we decided to share what we built with the rest of the world, we wondered what to do. Should we stick to a library and make it accessible somehow, or should we try to build a product on top of it? It happens we’re product builders, and we wanted to try something new. That's when we met the amazing @daniel_tch. Also, we identified a few downsides over the years with libraries. The main one was constantly having to go back and forth between the Layers and the Assets panels. This is why we wanted to have a ribbon on top, like Balsamiq does. It really acts as a third panel in Figma that you can collapse when needed, and we liked that UX. To be fully honest, there are also downsides with a plugin. For example, we did a great job on the drag-and-drop experience, but it’s still smoother when dragging components from a library. Still, we all switched to Blocks for months and I can tell you there's no going back :) One last thing, the 'backend' of the plugin is a Figma library. We just have to publish the library to release updates to production. Amazing process!

Looks great ! Used Balsamiq for years and years but stopped as started using Figma and ended up doing high fidelity mock ups - something I swore i would never do :) ... this will take me back to a more faster workflow which I ditched for the wrong reasons.

Wow, i'm a big fan of system designs and figma, and this is a great add-on i'll definitely try ! Congrats on launching

Thanks a lot! :)

I've been using wireframe.cc for so many years, hope that you can be the alternative!

@ant0ine_gt , We hope so too! 🤞

Hello, it seems promising product. Good luck on the launch. I would be happier if i have been able to see pricing on the landing page. Because it’s hard to navigate pages on mobile device. It’d even be better if you have a chatbot on your landing page. Maybe you can try aicadoai to integrate a chatbot easily. Have a nice day!
Sarah Barron
@efesenertr Hey - the product is completely free. Enjoy :)

Hi everyone I want to share my amazing testimony on how CYBERGENIE HACKPRO restored my financial life making sure that these crypto scammers didn't get away with my invested funds. I still find it difficult to believe that I would have lost millions of dollars in crypto. I am from the States and I have been playing the lotto for so long and have earned a huge amount in gambling. I wanted to try other big things and decided it would be crypto and forex marketing. I read a few tutorials online and felt I had gathered all the knowledge I needed to give crypto mining and trading a trial. I was glancing through things online and I came across a team of crypto forex experts and lured them into releasing millions to them while they were posing as crypto experts. As someone who experienced personally the distress of losing both crypto and money transferred to various bank accounts to this scammer, I can attest to the exceptional services provided by, CYBER GENIE HACK PRO in terms of crypto tracking and recovery. Investors and Victims Of Cryptocurrency Scams Should Contact, (@CYBERGENIEHACKPRO) . Thanks to CYBER GENIE HACK PRO for all they are doing in the lives of fraud victims..
