Not going to lie...I decided to put my order in because I saw Casey having so much fun on his.

Big fan, I've got the first gen, but a few puddles and it broke. Glad to hear about the waterproof v2! No shipping to Japan, or any part of Asia though?
Tom Bielecki
@shoinwolfe Not waterproof. Water resistant.
Sanjay Dastoor
@shoinwolfe We're working on expanding international shipping to other countries.
Sapph
@shoinwolfe You can try requesting it on https://grabr.io/ (where someone traveling your way can order and bring it for you). Many people from Russia used the platform to get their hands on Phantom drones :)
Daniel Lim
@sanjaydastoor @shoinwolfe Please ship to Singapore. I've been waiting for the longest time. Have also reached out to Boosted customer service but no estimates on dates. :(
Miguel Mendes
@sanjaydastoor why are you shipping to Spain (and others countries) and not to Portugal? I want to buy one, and i'm waiting for a year or so, and now that you update the shipping locations, portugal was left behind :x
Sanjay Dastoor
@miguelmendes We're working on it! With limited bandwidth and production ramp, we had to focus on a few places first and then expand. We'll be in Portugal as soon as we can.
Miguel Mendes
@sanjaydastoor thanks :)

Would like to get the gen 2 ER but not being able to fly with it means it's a no-go 😔
Sanjay Dastoor
@garysfw We're limited by the regulations around air transport of lithium batteries. For now at least, you can't get long range AND air transport without some serious paperwork.

Let's get a buy button on Product Hunt for when this launches!

I'm thinking of getting one of these now for when I travel to Switzerland on vacation. It is a great means of transportation but I think it's a little dangerous. :)
Sanjay Dastoor
@tpbtv I hadn't skateboarded before, and my fall rate is similar to when I was commuting by bicycle. Negatives are the smaller wheels require more attention to road conditions, and having power makes it easy to go fast. Positives are that I ride more conservatively than on a bike, since the cost of slowing down on a bike is high enough that I would try to keep up momentum around cars or traffic signals. I can also hop off the board or "run off" if the board stops for some reason and my speed is reasonable (<15 mph).
Alex Panagis
@sanjaydastoor well then it's going on my wish list! I'm not gonna live my life conservatively and it's a great mode of transport for summer vacation since I can't drive. I'm wondering. If I could feature the board in a magazine BahrainThisMonth.com and in the physical magazine that's distributed to everyone in the country. Which I can because I run some pages in there each month. And I could also feature it on my site the-photographyblog.com Would you consider sending me the lowest spec one?
Sanjay Dastoor
@tpbtv Happy to look into this with you. Can you email us at community@boostedboards.com?

Pretty slick and great new features. Seriously considering this right now.

I was just about to get a used 1st gen, looks like I don't have to anymore. This clearly is a winner.
Lars
I'm such a big fan of @BoostedBoards and super stoked to see them stay true to their roots with this new model. More range, an interchangeable battery, and a little extra water resistance is perfect for boosting around Vancouver. Nice work guys!

Funny to see this today, wasn't it a day or so ago he was supposedly arrested for riding his in a cycle lane?
