I built an analytics engine that mathematically predicts exactly when you'll forget something.
Hey Hunters! π
You cannot manage what you do not measure.
Since hitting #2 Product of the Day a few weeks ago, the feedback from medical students and developers using BrainLoom (our Local-First Learning OS) has been insane. But they all had one problem: They were flying blind. They didn't know if their study habits were actually working until exam day.
Today, I am dropping BrainLoom v1.0.6: The Analytics Engine.
I have completely overhauled the 'Review' tab to give you absolute, data-driven visibility into your own brain. We added 14 new charts, but here are the heavy hitters:
The Forgetting Curve & Retention Forecast: The app now mathematically predicts your memory decay. You can see exactly what percentage of your knowledge you will retain next week, and exactly when you need to review it.
Optimal Study Time: Stop fighting your biology. BrainLoom tracks your pass rates across the day and tells you exactly what hour your brain absorbs information best (e.g., 6:00 PM vs 8:00 AM).
Hardest Cards & Leeches: Instantly isolate the exact concepts that are slowing you down so you can rewrite them or use the AI Weaver to simplify them.
Also in v1.0.6:
Pin to Top: Stick your most important PDFs and Canvas maps to the top of your sidebar.
Squashed the "Highlight Wiper": Fixed a critical text-editor bug so your custom PDF highlights are 100% safe during global searches.
We are currently in the "Architects" batch (Lifetime License is $34 before we eventually move to SaaS for v2.0).
Grab the update (Mac/Win/Linux): https://brainloom.app
I'd love for you to test it out and tell me: What is your actual "Optimal Study Time" according to the data?
