Your old browser was a data vacuum, sucking it up and selling to the highest bidder. Brave welcomes you to the new Internet. One where your time is valued, your personal data is kept private, and you actually get paid for your attention through Brave Rewards.

Will become really good in case they fix all synchronization problems. For now just can't use it in day-to-day life.

I used firefox for a while. But coming from chrome background, I wasn't getting comfortable with the mozilla developer tools and pinch zoom for mac.
Brave was the best alternative for chrome I could find. Now Brave all the way.
As a privacy enthusiast, I've been using Brave since its inception. The first thing you'll notice right away is its speed. It's by far the fastest browser, since it blocks ads, trackers, and unnecessary components from the page by default.
If the Brave Shields are blocking some component on the page, you can simply toggle the shields off.
One point of improvement I'd like to see with Brave is in this aspect itself... We can see the cross-site trackers blocked, but sometimes I know which of these trackers I need to enable in order to see certain components on the website. As of right now, you can only toggle all/none of the cross-site trackers. I wish there was a capability to toggle each cross-site tracker individually. This way, it would prevent the page from breaking certain components, while still crossing the other trackers that aren't necessary to enable.
Brave and Firefox should both be the top 2 in terms of your browsers. The big major difference with Firefox is that it's so much more customizable. So for someone who knows what they're doing, Firefox still can't be topped because you can use add-ons like uBlock Origin, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger, etc. However, Brave is a fantastic option for those who want a sort of turnkey solution.
Think of it as building a website from a template, as opposed to from scratch. The template will do the trick and get you up and running quickly, and building it from scratch will allow you to build it to your specific needs/customizations (but would take a more dedicated one-time setup).
Ditch Chrome.
