I'm prod to introduce you the new version of Budgie, a free privacy-focused budget management app!
My aim is to provide a secure way to manage your everyday and monthly finances, without needing any of your personal details. The app has switched to a username/password authentication, allowing anyone to register and start using the web app.

Since the last launch, I have been maintaining the app to improve its security and speed.
Something that may stand out is that I recently updated it to make Payee or Payer optionals when entering a transaction. This change may reduce transaction friction and can be later added or removed. Initially, the feature was intended to provide additional transaction information for improved reporting. However, some users may find this information excessive and it is now optional.
I’m always happy to hear what you think! I’m aiming to make the app as flexible as possible, and if there’s anything that’s proving tricky to use, please let me know here. I’ll do my best to sort it out for you.
