Dear Overworked and Underappreciated Humans,
First off, we’d like to say thank you for stopping at this page.
Burnout was born from the ashes of too many unnecessary meetings, endless emails with “per my last message,” and enough circling back to make our heads spin.
We wanted to create a game that isn’t just fun—it’s relatable. At its core, it reminds us that the struggles of modern work life are a shared experience.
So once you’re done backstabbing, pulling strings, or living dangerously close to a mental breakdown in the game, just remember that your real-life actions affect others, whether you mean them or not.
The game is in the final stages of development and will launch on Kickstarter in May / June 2025.
Regards,
Suren (burnt out 5 times already) & Terence Poh (first burnout hasn’t ended yet),
Co-creators of Burnout
