CallOut - Predict your Friends - Earn money on what you already know.

The idea came from a scene in How I Met Your Mother — Ted and Barney are constantly making bets, but nobody ever actually pays up. It's always "you owe me from that one." That's not a TV trope, that's real life. A few months ago someone in my group chat said "I bet Tyler shows up exactly 15 minutes late to dinner." Tyler showed up 15 minutes late. Everyone celebrated, nothing happened. No money moved. The call was right and it meant nothing. That moment stuck with me. Friend groups make predictions about each other constantly — who's going to bail, who's going to text their ex, who's going to order Uber Eats right after saying they're not hungry. The social intelligence is there. The stakes never are. So I started building CallOut. The core idea was to take two products I loved — the social trust layer of Venmo and the prediction market mechanics of Kalshi — and collapse them into something built entirely around friend groups. Not sports. Not politics. Just the people you actually know. The bet isn't the point. Knowing your friends well enough to call it and make a fun game out of it — and getting paid when you're right — that's the point.
