I never would have thought of this which is what makes this so cool and unique! Really relate to someone else's description of this as "Audio Twitter." Also IN LOVE with the branding and app UI!

@jules_parra So glad to hear that. Thank you and would love your feedback as you're playing with Cappuccino!

I was really excited to use it but cannot set up a group on Android... bummer
Gilles Poupardin
@camille_cocaud Hi Camille, we're a bit behind on Android, apologize! Would you have a friend on iOS that can create the group and invite you? That would work!
Camille Cocaud
@gillespoupardin I wanted to have a look myself before trying to sell it to friends... nevermind

@camille_cocaud Got you could you email us at hello(at)cappuccino(dot)com or DM us on Twitter? https://twitter.com/cappuccino_fm - I have another way to get you in!

Hello guys! That's really good idea. I like the restriction for the publishing and consumption of content, and I like audio format for communications. I tested Android App for a couple of days (with my iOS friends ;)). These are changes I want to suggest: - remove any music from recorded background, but you can add very light sounds like Jingles between people's audio recordings - I don't need to listen to myself inside a daily "podcast from friends", maybe do it somewhere else - I still didn't know which of my audio recordings would make it to the final version the next day, this morning it was strange to hear several parts that seemed to have to be re-recorded Thank you! I will wait for updates

I love this concept. Trying to get my friends onboard. Does the iOS app feel a little sluggish (goes unresponsive) just for me or it is still being ironed out?
Gilles Poupardin
@annkur Thank you! Were you able to get your friends onboard? We've been a bit overwhelmed welcoming a lot of new people on Cappuccino! Might explain the slowness of the app sometimes, but let us know if it's still the case! hello(at)cappuccino(dot)com

Can anyone share invite code?

I’ve been using for the last week with 3 friends. Amazed by how much fun it is. We’ve mainly used for silly comedy skits. Would love to be able to share episodes or compile a “best of” for others. Any plans to enable downloads?

As I understand, the idea as it stands now is to connect with friends and family. but a good addition would be an "explore" functionality to search for nearby groups(say communities based on a topic) to join.

I just downloaded this tonight so I haven’t gotten my first cappuccino yet, but I already love this!! In pandemic times it’s been tougher to keep up with friends aside from text—I’m on Zoom all day at work so the last thing I want is another video or even phone call. Really looking forward to using this to catch up and goof off with friends I don’t get to see as much anymore (and I love feeling like I’m an NPR podcaster in the process!!!)
