I have been trying to learn German for the past few months, starting from A1 and now i'm trying to get better at actual conversations. Many YT videos I watched but still struggle to understand what ppl are saying when they speak. Also I tried Chatgpt voice agent for practice but it didn't work for me.
After watching the ChickyTutor demo it seems much easier to follow and closer to what I need for speaking Practice. I am definitely going to give it a try. 🇩🇪 :)
@tahir21 Thanks Muhammad! It's never too early to start speaking :) You can ask it to repeat or explain anything you don’t catch so you have a private tutor always available to provide feedback :)
I’d love to hear how it goes, especially what feels easier to follow and where you still get stuck. That feedback would be really useful :)

@zaur_bahramov Nope, that’s Phoebe Chickytutor! She’s our AI tutor with an AI voice, yes 😄 She remembers what you struggle with and gets the whiteboard out when you need it. Very committed to the private tutor role!
I like the idea that you already collaborate with students. How many languages are supported?

Is it a step towards the "comprehensible language" leaning method?
@daniele_besana The conversation mode follows comprehensible input. Whereas the guided mode is more similar to Pimsleur/Assimil/Michel Thomas methods :)
Really like the idea! Congrats on the launch. How does the interactive whiteboard work during an actual lesson?
@suryansh_tiwari2 It works just like a real private tutor. The tutor decides when it would be useful to generate an interactive whiteboard to explain a concept.
The student can also ask for a whiteboard at all times :)
The whiteboard has some standard formats but the tutor can also generate a completely new generative concept

Congrats, Phanos! Getting an explanation onto a whiteboard without breaking the speaking practice feels like a useful addition. I like that students can ask for one when they're stuck.
@oleksii_sekundant Exactly! The students can ask for an explanation and the tutor can also proactively decide an explanation is best shown on a whiteboard :)
Yea, memorizing phrases only gets you so far when someone replies with something unexpected. This sounds like a more natural way to practice. Grats!!@phanos_anastasiou
