Hello Product Hunt! 👋 Our team is very excited to be featured on PH! We just love this community and the products launched here on this platform :) There is so much valuable information out there on Youtube but we often find it difficult to switch across tabs to take notes. We wanted to reimagine the way we take notes on Youtube, making it as frictionless as possible. Presenting to you, Clarity, a chrome extension that allows you to take lightning fast Youtube notes. Take distraction-free notes without leaving your keyboard. No more juggling between media controls, mouse and what not. As seamless as you can imagine. Why Clarity? 1. Take notes at the speed of your thoughts. Inbuilt shortcut commands that allow you to take markdown notes without leaving your keyboard. 2. Never lose your notes again. Your notes are automatically saved and synced online. Retrieve it whenever you want. 3. Youtube notes stored in the context. I always found it difficult to take notes on another tab while watching youtube videos - it was annoying to switch between tabs while watching a video. Clarity has finally solved my problem! I've been taking notes on clarity now for the past ten days and it has improved my work flow drastically :D

@abhash_kumar2 Hey Abhash, right now the notes are stored in clarity dashboard but we have plans to integrate with other knowledge bases like readwise, notion, roam, soon. :)

This product is crazy good. 🔥 As a self-taught developer, I do learn actively via tutorials, interviews, and conference videos on Youtube and this makes it super easy to grab insights as I am listening and revisit them later on. I have been using this for the past couple of weeks and can't recommend this enough to any person who is an active learner on the internet The product delivers great value despite being in its early stage and the team is full of awesome people. 👏👏👏👏

this sounds incredible and i'm guessing you have an obsidian plug-in lined up as well. thought if it integrates with readwise, you needn't bother. curious if there's any way to integrate this into the mobile youtube experience?

@reddy2go Hey the readwise integration is something which we are working on currently and would be available sooner. This will make your life super easier. W.r.t mobile experience we are figuring out some of the feasible solutions. Do share your suggestions & feedbacks with us.

The much needed structure to the YT learning experience, which promises the world (quite literally) but doesn't solve the value 'capturing' problem as well. This feels like the missing piece.
