Testing all my subject lines right away! This is a great tool to understand which emotions trigger more opens on email and we can actually test what tonality and emotions brands are going after during COVID 19. The possibilities look endless!

Does this work only for short messages such as email title? Can I do this for the entire email and for paragraphs?
JACOB JOSEPH
@sadslasania This works on any marketing material that has text. It can work on short form or long form text. You can use it for email body, some long form linkedin post, etc

Looks interesting. Curious to know how it picks the criteria to evaluate the content? For example, the content sentiment is different if I am writing copy for a luxury brand when compared to how I would write for a bank.
JACOB JOSEPH
@vingar It purely looks at the text content and sees how it relates to the 5 basic emotions of human beings. In order to know what type of emotions work best with your audience, just upload your past data and generate a custom report. We have observed that emotions that work best for an app will be different for another app. The emotions that work best with a banking audience may be different than a luxury brand. Really interesting concept! At a very high level, how does the algorithm work out the percentages for each of the five emotions?
JACOB JOSEPH
@seb_sidbury We have used the state-of-art NLP model from Google (BERT). We use it to convert words into numerical values. We then use our proprietary algo to aggregate words into sentences. Now that we have a numerical value for the sentence, we assign a probability level to each emotion. Hope that helps. Do check out our webinar for a deep dive
