Hey all! Sharing this simple (but powerful) tool from the teams at Sales Hacker, Outreach, and REGIE.
It’s as simple as entering your target audience, subject line, and email body — the AI will give you a cold email ‘grade’, along with some specific tips for improvement.
Grades are broken down into 4 main components of a good cold email.
-Subject (25 pts)
-Body (40 pts)
-Mechanics (25 pts)
-Deliverability (10 pts)
Cold Email Grader detects grammar, spelling, sentiment, social proof, personalization, and more. I think it’s super promising for sales teams!
Thanks for sharing this, Mary!
Along with the teams at Outreach and REGIE, we set out to create a simple app that could grade cold emails.
We did some really cool things like train the natural language processing model based on the publicly available Enron email dataset that contains approximately 500k emails generated by 158 employees of differing roles and seniority. We also set certain rules based on other proven best practices (from things like proper length and spacing to social proof and ROI).
Each cold email we grade is given an overall grade out of 100, with 100 being a perfect score and 0 being a terrible idea to send to another human being on planet earth.
A score of 65 or less will show Red. You might want to try again.
A score of 65 to 75 will show Orange. You probably have a lot to add or change.
A score of 76 to 85 will show Bronze. You just need a few more tweaks before it’s good to send.
A score of 85 or more will show Green. You’re ready to send that cold email!
Check it out and let me know what you think!
