The story behind Colecta AI When I started thinking about Colecta AI back in early 2024, it was clear to me that creators face an overwhelming number of tasks every day. Managing growth, analyzing performance, finding brand collaborations, creating pitches, and handling negotiations — all of this usually requires a manager, which most creators can’t afford. Our initial approach was to build a platform connecting creators and brands directly. But as we talked to creators and experimented with features, we realized the real bottleneck wasn’t discovery — it was execution. Creators needed someone (or something) that could actually do the work for them, not just show them what to do. That’s when we pivoted to agentic AI and started building Colie — an AI manager that works 24/7, analyzing growth, tracking metrics, finding collaborations, crafting pitches, negotiating deals, and managing campaigns. Every step we took during the build was guided by one principle: let creators focus on creating, and let Colie handle the rest. Building Colecta AI has been a journey of learning, iterating, and discovering how AI can not just assist, but truly act on behalf of a user. We’re excited to launch Colie to the community, get feedback, and continue evolving toward our long-term vision: a fully autonomous AI-powered ecosystem for creators and brands.
