@mattkim_5 ahhh Matt, you're the best. Smoothie crew is the greatest. So good to meetup with you in Singapore. I'm sure we'll cross paths in some corner of the globe soon!
I ❤️ the design!
Here is my feedback:
Why did you choose only to go mobile?
I prefer a desktop version because I can focus better on a laptop.
I hope you have a solid monetization strategy because learning apps have a high burn rate if they aren't backed by capital. If you need some ideas from a learning app that got there, listen to the monetization journey of the founder of Duolingo, that language learning app.

At the moment you launch, in the first stage, you would run into problems, so focus on customer solution fit, meaning you need to run about 1000 product-led growth experiments to dive deep into which segment you can serve best.
A) If I were your company's growth marketer, I would start to scrape your customer reviews and competitors, like Udemy's web courses on web3, to identify how to communicate better and where you give added value.
B) I would scrape the comments of the web3 youtube channels to identify a pattern that could be used in in-app marketing experiments.
C) If you have a data scientist, ask them to run sentiment analysis. A workaround is to ask your coders to familiarize themselves with data science libraries.
D) Last but not least, you need to have an investor page, which gives them a roadmap of past successes like this product hunt launch and where you want to be every quarter.
I don't believe you can get where you want to be with your own money unless you are already a millionaire because learning platforms have a hard time starting with monetization. I foresee your platform will be like The Futur website, where most of the content is free, but the advanced content is paid for the true learners.

@jas801 Hi Jasper,
Thank you very much for all these tips. We really appreciate it!
We chose to go mobile bc 60-ish% of our audience is in Africa and Asia, uses their phone much more than a computer, and 4G penetration is pretty good now in these parts. But, we do have a web version as well.
Thanks for the link to that podcast, we know it well. I'm a big fan of Duolingo. And we are VC backed, our investors are noted on our website.
Cheers and thanks again ser 🙏
