We first launched Convo in September, with a strong focus in real-time and live insights giving you instant cues of what you can say next during your meetings.
That core hasn't changed at all, but everything around it has. We decided to evolve Convo so that it assists you through the whole meeting workflow.

@ivan_abad Love this “end-to-end” approach, most tools only handle the summary after the meeting, but the real leverage is before and during. Having something that preps you, nudges you in key moments, and then automates all the follow-up feels like the closest thing to a real meeting co-pilot I’ve seen.
Curious, how does the local listening work for on-call suggestions? Is it running fully device-side, or a hybrid model depending on the task?

The listening happens entirely on your device – audio is captured locally in real-time, so nothing leaves your Mac until it needs to be processed. This keeps latency low and gives you full control.
The smart suggestions run in the cloud because they require sophisticated AI models that would be impractical to run locally. We use your device to detect conversation context (like what stage you're in or key topics) then generate relevant moments server-side.
Think of it like having a coach listening alongside you (locally) who can quickly consult their expertise (cloud) to give you the perfect suggestion at the perfect moment.
@ivan_abad @magriux Got it, that hybrid setup makes a ton of sense. Local capture for privacy + cloud intelligence for the heavier reasoning feels like the right balance, especially for real-time suggestions.
Really like the “coach beside you” mental model. Excited to see how far you push those moment-to-moment prompts!

@michaelrivellium Thank you! Yes, we realized how many AI meeting tools don’t really care about privacy, so we wanted to make that a priority from day one. And I agree, @magriux doesn’t get enough credit for that dashboard!

@vik_sh Thank you! Convo listens during the call and combines what’s being said with context from past meetings, calendar info, and any docs you’ve uploaded. It then surfaces relevant information through Ask AI or directly in the dashboard once the call is done
