Instead of meetings, use Beseda to send videos and audios — both transcribed — and have more time for focused work without distractions. Standups, design reviews, reporting bugs, collecting and giving feedback — the sky's the limit for the ways to apply.
Hey Hunters ✨
I'm Lida, co-founder of Beseda. We’re on a mission to help remote and hybrid teams communicate asynchronously using audio and video messages.
The pandemic has changed the culture of corporate communication. Many people spend most of their time on calls. It seems to be very easy to hop on a meeting, so we do it even at an inconvenient time or at a time allotted for focused work. In my previous job, I had to call my CEO at 6 am because of the different time zones just to sync up on tasks. Or I’d get in a meeting with 50 colleagues, where we would all just listen to one talking head, telling about the results of an experiment (often, I happened to be the talking head).
It’s not enough, and oftentimes simply not possible to just reduce the number of communications. So we decided to go the other way round and create a service for asynchronous communication. Instead of making calls or writing long texts, you record a video or audio, and your teammates can go through them and answer whenever they want and can. This frees up time for focused work and rest.
We’re also planning to make integrations with tools where working communication often takes place: Figma, Github, Miro, and others. The first one in line is the plugin for Figma. We know how hard it is to give feedback on designs via text comments. Our plugin will allow you to leave video and audio comments right in the layout.
Beseda is free for now, later we will introduce paid options. We're in the closed beta now and we will give the access gradually to make sure everything works stably.
Join our community to build the future of remote work. Together we can make our product suitable for modern teams, and teach each other how to not be just a head in the circle, but a teammate everyone loves to work with.
We’re waiting for your feedback in the comments 👇
You've got a new message 🔔
Hey everybody,
Excited to present this extremely interesting (and very bright) project to our global community.
The rapid spread of remote work principles is a powerful trend, so every tool that can improve team interaction and daily communication is of interest.
And this is also the case when the product design is an integral part of it, the interfaces look very nice and clean. I can't wait to test the UX.
Let's support guys in product development. I am sure that your opinion and ideas will be very useful at this stage.
👋
Congrats!
Useful product in perspective market. Сurrent communications tools are outdated, asynchronous communications are new kings
Great UX/UI, get a lot of pleasure
Looking good! Good job, guys. 💪🙂🙌
Why is this better than Slack or Telegram for the same tasks? In transcribing, right?
I can use familiar Slack or Telegram for sending asynchronous videos and audios. What if Slack will add transcribing too?
@shashcoffe Hi, Alexey! Thank you for your comment.
We are creating a more smooth user experience for visual communication. Slack doesn’t have video or audio messages right now, only if you use Loom to do it.
Telegram is good but doesn’t have transcription, which makes audio and videos messages not so useful. And it doesn’t have screen recording also.
We hope to combine all great solutions for async communication in our tool.
Become our early user and help us to do it.
