Genie launches on Product Hunt tomorrow - here's what we built

We've spent the last few months building Genie, an AI analyst inside Databox. Tomorrow it goes live on Product Hunt.

The short version: you ask a question about your data in plain language, Genie finds the right metrics, runs the analysis, and returns an answer with a chart — in seconds. No SQL, no waiting on someone else.

If you've been following along in this forum, thank you — the conversations here genuinely shaped how we think about the product.

We go live at midnight PT. If you want to support the launch, the one thing that matters most: make sure you have a Product Hunt account before midnight. Votes from accounts created on launch day carry much less weight in the algorithm.

This is exciting, just a quick question: how does Genie handle multi-source data blends for queries like "What's driving churn this quarter?" and spot correlations automatically?

@swati_paliwal Great question, Swati! Genie works within your connected data sources in Databox - so if you have multiple integrations set up, it can pull metrics across them in a single query. For something like "What's driving churn this quarter?" it will surface the most relevant metrics it has access to and run the analysis automatically.

Automatic cross-source correlation detection is something we're actively working on - right now Genie is strong at answering focused questions fast, and we're building toward more of that exploratory, "find the pattern for me" layer. Would love to hear what data sources you're working with if you want to dig into a specific use case!
