DayOne is a workout log and training companion built for one thing: consistency.
Most workout apps either dump you into a blank log or lock you into rigid programmes. DayOne sits in the sweet spot — guided plans you can actually follow, plus simple, fast logging so you can track progress without overthinking your training.

Hey everyone. Desmond here, maker of DayOne 👋
I built DayOne because most workout apps make you choose:
either you’re staring at a blank workout log… or you’re locked into a rigid programme you can’t adapt.
The real problem isn’t knowing what to do — it’s staying consistent. So DayOne is designed to make showing up stupidly simple: guided plans, fast logging, and progress you can actually see.
How it evolved while building:
• I started with “just a log”… and realised logging isn’t helpful if you don’t know what to do next.
• Then I added guided plans… and realised plans aren’t useful if logging is a chore.
• So DayOne became the middle ground: guidance + logging that’s frictionless.
Would love your feedback:
• What’s the #1 thing that breaks your consistency?
• If you could change one thing about your current workout app, what would it be?
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
