The easiest way to learn German articles: Swipe to memorize, 2000 words by frequency.
— Swipe left, right, and up for more efficient memorization.
— A list of 2000 words, ordered by frequency of use.
— Learn the initial words, and new ones will appear.
Congratulations on launching your German learning app! This swipe-based method sounds like a fun and engaging way to memorize articles. Will you consider adding other languages for learning in the future, such as Japanese, English, Chinese, and so on?
@scar_qin I am not sure it's possible to use this exact method for languages without complex gender constructions, but I am already working on simple flash-card app for English vocabulary. So, stay tuned!
Really cool! I built something similar to help myself learn the genders too but this is way better haha.
Some feedback
* I guess 1 word learned means that its a mature learnt word rather than a new word but this wasn't initially clear
* The dragging seems a bit sensitive sometimes I go to drag it to `das` but I guess am dragging it slightly up and to the right/left and it triggers `der` or `die`
But I really like it! Going to use it consistently and see if I can finally improve my intuition of what gender words are haha. Congrats on the launch!
@alex_cyphus thanks for the feedback! Dragging is an unexpectedly tricky part. I am still looking for a best solution for it. Maybe it is worth thinking of using some ML predictions instead of linear distance calculation. Will focus on this issue!

Congrats on the launch!
I just tried the app, and I think it’s really nice! I especially enjoy the spatial memory feature.
I am not sure how it could be done but it would be amazing if we could also learn the plural forms of the words. Congrats again!
