Hi Product Hunt, Jan-Phillip here, one of two people behind Dispoly. Dispoly is booking software for organizations that share a handful of vehicles, rooms and equipment and have nobody whose job it is to manage them: utilities, care services, trade businesses, clubs, small coworking spaces. Flat price per month, not per seat or per vehicle. We launched here in August. Since then the most common request was the same in every conversation: "Great, now I know who booked the van. But what was the odometer reading when it left, and did it come back with a full tank?" That lived in a notebook in the glove box, or nowhere. So every booking now has two moments, pickup and return: • Set up fields per resource: odometer, operating hours, driver, fuel level, damage, or your own. Templates for vehicles and machines, copy the setup to the next vehicle. • Counters carry over. The last reading is prefilled at pickup, the difference shows while you type at return. A reading below the previous one asks for confirmation but never blocks you. • Members record in the app. Guests who booked through your public page get a link in the confirmation email, no account needed. • A printed QR sign on the vehicle opens the form for whoever is standing there, including trips nobody booked, like the workshop run. Those show up as "without booking". • Logbook per resource with the reading at month end, kilometers per month and every entry with a name. Export to Excel or CSV. • Missing returns are flagged. One reminder email, optionally an escalation to the resource's contact person. Nothing blocks the next booking. Pickup & return is included in every plan, Starter too. 30 days free, no card. We are two people and build this bootstrapped. Happy to answer anything, including "why not just use a spreadsheet".
