What's your #1 rule to stay productive?
To be honest, my unfair advantages are gone with the new AI models: Getting ideas and building them. And this scared me, for a moment, I thought that finally everyone around me would become a builder.
I went to all my friends who told me before: "I have an idea, can you help me build it?" and told them that they can do it now, with very little effort.
The majority didn't. I spent some time struggling with procrastination and I understood that knowledge wasn't the problem. The problem is that people are not getting things done. People don't have the courage or the tools to start building and keep doing it.
I struggled with these topics, and a lot of founders only speak about them privately, so I built some rules:
Plan on Monday, execute the rest of the week.
One morning call every day, I can't skip a day.
Have someone honest around who can tell you when you're off track.
Do you get the right things done? Do you track yourself? What are your rules? Do you stick to the plan?
