@markus_sigel Communities with more than few hundered members benefit the most from Dots! We do have some very small communities using it (such as surveying members), but generally we recommend most communities to do things manually to learn what resonates in the community before you automate specific tasks. Was there a usecase where you felt a custom Discord bot would have been ideal for you in the past?

@sanketchauhan @pranavbadami I was thinking of using this as a personal use case, for online gaming, my go-to game has changed servers from a local forum to discord, I was planning on creating surveys, questions and strategies on our discord channel with this. I hope this could be possible with your software.

@pranavbadami @jorge_casals Yes, we have a pretty extensive support for surveys/questions, and you can easily track the results (or export it to a csv or google sheet for example) Essentially anything you can do through Google forms or Typeform, we support that but natively on Discord. What do you mean by strategies btw? Like getting suggestions on best game play?

@jagath_vytheeswaran Thank you! Our key differentiator is the highly customizable no-code builder. The no-code builder can support a variety of different triggers, actions, and even complex conditions. That isn't quite possible with existing bots, and will most likely require you to code. We also integrate with external tools to help push that info to systems you already use. Curious if you have used any other bots?

@jagath_vytheeswaran thanks! Good question, Dots is a lot more customizable and user friendly in Discord than tools like Mee6. We also offer much better analytics on your members versus a tool like Mee6, that pretty much just does role management.

I'm really excited about what Dots can do for Discord communities — I've been really disappointed with the capabilities of most (other!) Discord bots I've investigated, and have ended up writing a lot of custom code to support the behaviors I want. Dots looks like it will be able to replace a ton of these specialized bots with something I don't have to run a server for. I've played around with it for a couple of weeks, and I'm really excited about what it can do now, and the potential it has in the future 🚀

Congratulations on the launch Sanket 🚀 I have been running a discord community for Olvy, would definitely come on handy. Love the example of step-by-step onboarding flow, which usually we do it with mee bot which is obviously not very customisable. Gonna give it a try soon 🙌

I got to use dots pretty early on and have loved how the team has grown the product. Discord is great for communities, but the native tools are terrible for automation and scale. Dots has helped a lot with that. Really excited for what they're doing now and next!
