dropadoo - Send files to predefined Emails via drag and drop

Dropadoo does exactly one thing and it does it perfectly: Send files to predefined Emails via drag and drop. Think about platforms that accept email receipt... worktlows with: Asana, Box, ClickUp, Cloud-Storage, Dropbox, GitHub, Google Drive, HubSpot, IFTTT applets, Jira, Mantis,Notion,Trello, Zapier, Zoho, to name a few.. With its integrated SMTP client (your credentials) and a small set of options, files can be sent as quick as somehow thinkable. // Dropw without further ado - dropadoo //

Personal project, beautiful, witty app that saves so much time. Reddit loves it so far. Working on MacOS, free, no in-app peruchases, hand coded, stable and yes... this is the definition of an edge-case app. Then again, if it fits your workflow, you will love it.

@oliver_ottner Cool project Oliver!

@jaredcampbell Thank you mate!

Great idea! You should build a website that allows users to bypass the Apple App Store fees, enabling them to download your DMG directly without incurring those charges.

@vincentpruv the app is free, so i don't see a benefit in that.
what i do opt in is notaized and signed. peopel are lazy, no privayc settings tweaking needed with dropadoo.

Hey Oliver. This looks very interesting. I had almost the same idea a while ago. The only difference being that I wanted the ability to copy and paste links or text as well. Basically using it as my read/do later bucket... ;-) But I'm no developer, so this idea was just rotting on some list. Happy to see that somebody did that! Good luck with it!

By the way. Are you the guy behind Pitchable?

Cheers

@danischenker dear dani, thank you for your ideas. regading textbased stuff.. thought about it to complete the journey, you are right. then again it was cluttering my idea a bit.... while concept, i more and more concentrated on those platforms (trello, zapier etc. you know) being the apin point i wanted to solve.

yes i'm the guy behind pitchable! ..... why? :)

@oliver_ottner I was just looking you up, as I do when I see a fellow European here on Producthunt ;-) And pitchable looks like an interesting concept as well.

Oliver Ottner

@danischenker  oh nice, do you use it already?

Dani Schenker🇨🇭

@oliver_ottner Not yet, but I have it on my list.

That makes sense — simplicity is the whole point. Looking forward to seeing where you take it!
