You can even password protect transfer links and set an expiration date to encourage recipients to download the files. You'll get a link you can send to anyone—even if they aren't on Dropbox. After you send it, viewership stats let you see how many times the transfer's been accessed.
Does this mean I can send files that are not currently saved in my dropbox account? I'm curious to know how this differs from sending a link to the file if it is saved within your dropbox account... Anybody?
@christopher_jones1 yes. it differs in that the user only gets a copy of the file with this. they won’t see all the future changes to the file in your dropbox
Somebody told them that they were just a feature, but they didn’t want to listen. I think they will belly up soon, they still live because of inertia ...who the hell upvoted this. I’m sure they up-voters ain’t paying for a pro account.
