Anyone know what visual library is driving apps like this? Office Lens has been great for whiteboards, and there's a bunch of scanning apps that do this, now Dropbox too.

Scanner looks cool... too bad I'm an Android user... so I'll be waiting... pfffft

Why is the open and edit functionality still missing from the iOS app!?! It's a cloud storage, let me edit and save files on iOS from other apps. It's been 2 years since Apple introduced document pickets and Dropbox is still not in that game, unlike every other cloud storage provider.

I tried out the document scanning today for a contract I needed to sign. It worked beautifully :)

I really wish Dropbox revise their pricing policy. For 69 a year (30 % difference) i can get annual license for MS Office Pro AND same amount of storage as Dropbox AND Skype minutes. I really really like Dropbox, but they just can't beat MS offer for me.

Personally I am using Dropbox for many years and I'm really happy with their improvement and progress 😊

MSFT acquisition of dropbox very likely for dropbox, MS Office would gain more target customers and round out their offering.

Am surprised to see the way Dropbox is tuning itself into productivity tools market as its growing faster. Without spoiling the clean Ux and UI approaches they are just providing options to create word doc/ powerpoint by installing Microsoft apps and not by taking a risk of inserting their own interface into the app. May be in near future they connect the paper app into it like how facebook and messenger apps work parallely faster. Being a fan of Dropbox , I feel this as a must needed change and they accomplished it!
