I feel like this could be a real usage drive for Dropbox, personally I'd be more likely to throw large video files in there for example

This is awesome. Hope it's also for non-business customers.

So need this for a project I'm working on right now. Constantly running out of local disk space to work on large video project and have to keep selectively syncing files I don't need at that time.

Already made the switch from Gdrive to Dropbox but this feature would be even more awesome than the current Dropbox!

Has anyone found details on how "real" syncing will be triggered to ensure offline access? Or whether metadata searching (like Spotlight) will be fed any information to make unsynced files searchable?

Any access improvements to Dropbox are welcomed! This sounds very useful and friendly, especially with the "pre-load" feature for remote presenting. YAY Dropbox.
