My waterproof backpacks story began when our small boat was shipwrecked in the middle of the Mentawai islands archipelago in Indonesia and all our things were floating around our half sunk boat. I was using dry bags at the time, but they were just really uncomfortable to carry around when traveling and not very good looking. So I started developing waterproof backpacks that would combine the waterproofness of dry bags with looks and usefulness of regular backpacks. This new 30L daypack that just came out is what I was aiming at:)
