Introducing Aina - A context aware remote for everything.

Hey Product Hunt community! 👋

We’re excited to be back with something we’ve spent the last 15 months building, alongside our experimental hardware interfaces.

Our journey started with a series of experiments in human-computer interaction. We wanted to understand what the next interface for technology could look like, and those early experiments led us to build Dune, a context-aware keypad for Mac.

We launched Dune on Product Hunt, where it became the #1 Product of the Day. The response from this community was incredible. We shipped Dune to hundreds of early adopters and had countless conversations with them to understand which use cases for a context-aware device truly win.

But Dune was never the end goal. Our intention was always to build the next hardware interface for AI, driven by a simple thesis: context awareness will become the default behavior across all apps and agents. While Dune was in people’s hands, we were building a much bigger bet on the future of interfaces. Dune validated our thesis that context-aware devices can be genuinely powerful, and it showed us which Mac apps people rely on most. That foundation shaped everything we built next.

Imagine finishing breakfast and having your Uber booked.
Running late and having your agent send a text for you.
Or reaching home and having your lights turn on automatically.

AI is becoming increasingly capable of understanding context and acting on our behalf. But it still needs us to unlock our phones, open apps, and tap through screens to approve every action. We’re doing this hundreds of times a day, even as the technology behind those screens has changed dramatically.

AI needs its own interface.
The most convenient way for the human body to say yes.

Meet Aina.

Aina is an AI ring with a screen that predicts and shows you the three things you’ll need next. One flick of your thumb, and the task is done.

Here’s what Aina can do:

✦ Voice: Talk to your agents, take notes, and dictate.
✦ Remote: Control your music, Mac, and TV.
✦ Calls: Right from your hand.

We’re also building Aina with a developer-friendly approach because we believe the possibilities extend far beyond the use cases we’ve imagined ourselves. We want developers and the broader community to experiment, build, and help shape what this interface can become.

Over this time, we’ve gone through countless experiments, prototypes, hardware iterations, manufacturing challenges, and early pilot testing with 100 users. It’s been quite a journey getting here, and we’re excited to finally share the result with everyone.
