Easy Bookmark Viewer transforms your new tab page into a beautiful and productive dashboard for all your bookmarks.
Featuring a visual grid layout, instant search, and smart sorting, it helps you find what you need, effortlessly.
I'm Himanshu, the designer and developer behind Easy Bookmark Viewer.
For years, my biggest productivity bottleneck has been Chrome's default bookmark manager. It's a messy, endless text list that feels more like a digital junk drawer than a useful tool.
As someone who saves hundreds of articles, tools, and resources for my design work, finding what I needed was always a frustrating chore.
I knew there had to be a better way. I wanted something visual, fast, and beautiful that worked with my brain, not against it.
So, I decided to build the solution I always wanted: Easy Bookmark Viewer.
It replaces the default chaos with a clean, visual grid that lives on your new tab page. We focused on a few core things:
• Visual Clarity: Seeing favicons in a grid is so much faster than reading text.
• Instant Access: Powerful search and smart categories like "Most Visited" and "Recently Added" mean the right link is always just a click or two away.
• A Pleasure to Use: With light and dark modes, it’s designed to be a space you enjoy using every day.
This was a passion project born out of my frustration, and I'm excited to share it with the Product Hunt community finally.
I'll be hanging out here all day to answer every single question, listen to your feedback, and hear your ideas.
I'd love to know:
• What's your number one frustration with managing bookmarks right now?
•Are there any "must-have" features you feel are missing from modern bookmark managers?
Cheers,
Himanshu
Looks like a clean and practical upgrade for anyone tired of cluttered bookmark bars. The visual grid layout and smart sorting are great touches — I’ll definitely give it a try when I get the chance. Congrats on the launch 🚀
This looks promising! Does the 'smart sorting' use AI/ML to auto-categorize bookmarks based on usage patterns? Also, can we sync visual layouts across devices? (Asking because my work/personal Chrome profiles have totally different bookmark needs 😅)
@eagien It will your your default bookmarks in chrome.

Does it have a folder and sub-folder structure as well? The folder structure of Chrome's Bookmark Manager is fine with me, but the actual bookmarks still come in a list format, which I don't like. With the number of Bookmarks I have, I'll give this a try.

@himanshuraikwar Hey Himanshu, I installed your extension, it looks great and works as it should, but I'll have to uninstall it for now. The reason: I don't want it to hog my new tab page, as I require it for something else, and I haven't found an option to disable the extension on the new tab, at least not yet. Otherwise, I would have started using it right away.

Will the user's data be required to upload?
