One of the genuinely coolest AI startups that isn't just another boring ChatGPT wrapper, you guys are gonna kill it for sure. Definitely keeping it bookmarked for future use, awesome stuff folks.

@tasselhat thank you Tim!

The platform's user-friendly interface and intuitive design further enhance its appeal.

@nataliia_tuchapets1 thank you Nataliia. @thisisehsan has worked very hard to make the UI intuitive

@nataliia_tuchapets1 glad to hear that Nataliia! thanks for the shout-out @spencer__clark

As a Solutions Architect, I am tasked with selling Azure solutions which typically involve some high-level diagramming. Previously, I would use Draw IO or Lucid which have proved to be great. However, finding Eraser IO introduces a new level of diagramming with its use of AI and code. Now I can quickly get an architectural mockup using a prompt and then edit the diagram with the Design by Code feature. I also love that it can be integrated with Visual Studio Code for offline design. Big thumbs up to the Eraser team for this tool!

@acrophat thank you Kyle! We aim to make diagramming easier for everyone.

Hi Shin and Team, basis on the demo the product looks good...can we also export to MS Visio or ppt ?
Shin Kim
@ahmedperfai Hi Ahmed, we don't support .vsdx or .pptx export at the moment. We do have .png, .svg, .pdf, .md, and .eraserdiagram export! Yes, we do have our own diagram file format 😄 https://docs.eraser.io/docs/usin...

I've used a lot of diagraming tools before, never found the perfect one, but Eraser is closest to that so far. That was an instant subscription. Plus the documents & notes Notion style. I'm using Eraser for my educational video content, blog posts and more. Best tool so far. I've tried the AI, and it's something to watch. Good job and can't wait to see more from you guys :)

@piotr_jura thank you Piotr! We are glad you are liking it. Would love to know more about what kind of features do you expect from your perfect diagraming tool. :)

@shin_kim1 this is a real timesaver. I'm gradually moving everything off Omnigraffle and WebSequence Diagrams.
Shin Kim
@senagbe that's great to hear! hopefully you'll be able to consolidate all of your diagramming needs with Eraser!

Hi Shin, Congrats on reaching the 1 million+ diagrams milestone with Eraser and launching Eraser AI! It sounds like a game-changer for anyone involved in technical design. Quick question: does Eraser AI support collaboration features for teams, or is it more geared towards individual use? Excited to give it a try!
Eugene Tsakh
@alex_dulub Thank you Alex! Regarding your question: Eraser AI is tightly integrated in core Eraser functionality and is not an obstacle to collaboration. Your teammates will be able to see the content created by AI as well as see prompt history for AI diagrams and even will be able to write edit prompts for Eraser AI to edit existing diagrams or edit diagram code manually themselves.

So far I've been hacking together prompts to allow me to do something like this with ChatGPT but it's awesome to see this actually come together in a real product. I think UI/UX are some of the most important pieces of the AI state we're in and I'm excited to put this through its paces. Good luck!
Stu Kabakoff
@bradydowling Thanks Brady, we'd be interested to see what you make!

The AWS icons are a trigger for me 😅 For real though, maybe an option to choose icon types or families (or no icons) beforehand could be nice 😮‍💨
Stu Kabakoff
@bradydowling We chose AWS as a default because that's what people use the most. If you tell it to use Azure or Google Cloud it will. If it thinks you're making something that doesn't belong in the cloud, it will use generic icons.
Spencer Clark
@bradydowling Thank you for the feedback!
Zeng
What a great product! And great intro video! Although I can't code, but I totally understand what your product is about. Super cool!
Spencer Clark
@zeng thank you! That is the beauty of our product, no coding is necessary. You can ask it to generate any type of diagram in plain english and it will do it for you.
