Looks interesting for indoors, but that mount won't survive city life outdoors. One rock thrown at it and it would fall off. I currently have Arlo, and it has pretty good battery life but it's because it doesn't run that often. I wonder how long battery life for this would last in a busy environment where it's trigger 10 times a day?

@tostartafire For EverCam, the standard is 1 year of 1080P video on one camera, with 10 videos per day, each being 30 seconds, for a total of 110,000 seconds of motion-activated video and/or live video WITH night vision.

@tostartafire And we provide both magnetic mount and metal screw mount. Magnetic mount is stable enough but you can use the metal screw mount for outdoor as you like.

Just can't get over the magnetic attachment. What if I throw a ball at it from the side. Or use a broom or shovel to jar it off from the side. I won't be on video at all. And, how do I charge it...not mentioned in video (i think)? Do I need to climb a ladder to take it down from my tree (if that is where I put it) so I can charge it inside. I really like the facial recognition and AI aspects though.

@gody We are definitely looking into adding Homekit support, however there isn't a specific date on this compatibility.

I have not used this product yet but watched videos of it and did some research on how their tech could pull this off and this seems legit. Would recommend it to loved ones as times are getting tough and we need more security in our lives. This product would definitely help in that aspect.

Pros:

1080p camera and a rechargable battery that can go on for 365 dates!. not to mention the night vision camera. this project is amazing.

Cons:

compared to other security cameras available in the market today. If EverCam pulls everything that they promised, there wouldn't be any Cons

I currently have an Arlo Pro 2, however I really dislike the $99 yearly charge for the cloud. This one seems like a great alternative.

@aelia_yousaf There can be up to 16 cameras that can be attached to a homebase. And I am sorry there is no plan for the black ones for now.
