Here's what your inbox looks like in Faraday! 🗂️

by•

I wanted to show you exactly what you'll see when you open Faraday, because it's the same on web and Mac today and it's coming to your phone next.

Your mail is split into six sections: Human emails, Updates, Bookings, Bills & Transactions, Newsletters and Notifications. Each email row already shows its key details, like whether a bill is paid or due, what kind of booking it is, or what type of email it is, so you can tell what each one is about without opening it. On a phone screen that saves a lot of tapping!

Threads work differently too. Every reply and forward becomes its own item with the sender and date, laid out in a neat tree, and there's no quoted text repeating underneath. So a long back-and-forth reads like a short list of messages instead of one giant wall of text.

Both apps go live on iOS and Android on the same day, and I'll post the launch right here. Which of these would you use most on your phone? 😊
