Hello Hunters!
I'm one of the founders of FLOW and I'm really excited to be part of the Producthunt community!π After many months of hard work we launched the first version of our iPhone video editor.
π What's so special about FLOW?
FLOW brings ease functions to video editors in the smartphone video editing app space. All the effects and transitions come with a configurable timing function that can give a unique punch to any edit.
π Why have "ease functions" in a video editor?
Ease functions are curves that describe acceleration. Without them all your iPhone swipe gestures would look linear and feel blunt and all your transitions would look unnatural. They are a standard in the video editing space but have not yet been seen, in this form, on a smartphone. πͺ
We started with 4 transitions: ZOOM, SWIPE, ROTATE and LUMA by getting inspired by a few influencers in the video editing space.
Let us know your feedback and suggestions on what transition or effect to build next. Our team is going to hang out here today, so feel free to ask any questions below.π
@moniruzzaman829 Thank you! Hopefully users can get really creative with their edits using the widgets that we implemented. π

From the IAP descriptions in the app store "All Access", it looks like this has a "subscription" option. Is that true?
Are you aware that will scare off a significant number of users who hate subscriptions?
@jasonology Hello Jason! We apreciate the feedback! Our assumption is that the users would want to explore the free features first and if the free features provide sufficient value, they might buy the subscription aswell.
We're working on the percentage of features under the pay wall and will be adding on the free package and also on the premium package and try to find a balance between the two. But of course, our assumptions might be wrong, but we'll quickly find that out through our metrics.

@florincorde Thanks for replying. I hope you understand that some people have good reason for not subscribing, including but not limited to: varying use of the app i.e. why pay monthly if you don't use it monthly, and varying incomes. I recommend a tiered one-off IAP system as an alternative. Some of us have hundreds of apps. If all you makers turn to subs, we would not be able to afford them all and we would have to spend a huge amount of time toggling subscriptions. Thanks for reading my rant.
