FN7 has a precise understanding of what consumers need. Watching their journey unfold is truly fascinating—I’m excited to see how far they go!

Congrats on the launch! 🚀 Helix looks like a game-changer for early-stage founders. Excited to see how it helps turn ideas into reality. Wishing you success!

AI for prototyping? 🤯 Color me intrigued! Need to see how this AI magic works. Definitely checking it out.

Antony Stewart

Tried it out! One word: awesome!

Pros:

  1. It takes less than 3mins tbh

  2. The questions it asks are pure gold

  3. The flows make it clear to process & extend the functionality of the app.

  4. Considers Multi sided platforms, which is one factor that surprised me!

Cons:

  1. The navigation is a little confusing. The UI felt a little cluttered.

  2. Help or guides would be great for finding out the required options

  3. I initially wanted to create a desktop prototype. I assume you're planning for it.

Here's the prototype I generated, feel free to explore here

@shubham_pancholi congrats on the launch & here's some quick feedback. Great work by the way!

@antony_stewart Thanks Antony, the next version, definitely resolves the cons 1 & 2. We're fine with the UX design. We're currently in the user testing phase. So I would say it's just around the corner.

Dinesh Bypilla

@antony_stewart And for #3 of the cons, yes it's on our roadmap!

Thanks@waseem_panhwer , I hope fn7 helix can help you in process.

This hits close to home! One of the biggest challenges for me has always been balancing speed and validation. It’s tempting to overbuild and perfect something before getting real user input — but every time I’ve waited too long, I’ve regretted it.

Curious — does Helix offer specific templates or frameworks to guide each stage (like user interview scripts, wireframe templates, etc.)? Would love to know how it helps structure that ideate → design → test loop. Looks super useful for early-stage projects! 🚀

Dinesh Bypilla

@williamrobertscott Appreciate your thoughts! That balance between speed and validation is exactly what Helix is designed to tackle.

We actually had a version of Helix in the past that included structured guidance for different stages, like user interview prompts and wireframe templates. But in order to define and test quickly, we had to drop a few things—including most of what you mentioned. We’ll be bringing those features back soon, once the need is clearly established.

Would love to hear your thoughts if you give it a try! Does Helix provide enough guidance for your process right now? Any feedback on what you'd like to see? 🚀

Regardless of the prototype’s outcome, which is impressive in itself, even just the process of inputting the idea and the following steps are extremely helpful for an initial form of validation. There is potential.

💎 Pixel perfection
@niveditha_patluri I used it by inputting a brief I had prepared and had previously used to present an idea to a designer. As I mentioned, I found the wizard part stimulating. I think it’s an essential step for Helix to properly define and refine the prototype, but I also see it as a great tool for validating the idea itself. The questions it asks help you understand whether the direction you have in mind is the right one. The prototype part is also well-designed. I can modify the flows and the layout, which is already a great feature. If I had to point out some concerns, I’d say I find it a bit difficult to navigate between the different screens of the various flows. In my test, for example, in the design view and the flow, I see pages that I can’t access from the prototype. Another issue, along the same lines, is that I end up with duplicated screens in the flow, but with different descriptions. For example, I have a page for editing an entity, and I see multiple instances of it in the flow, but they all display the same screen. This might also be the reason why I can’t access subsequent pages from the prototype. So perhaps making the connections between buttons/elements that link to different pages more visible could be helpful.

@stemonte Greatly detailed feedback. Much appreciated! There's a lot to unpack here.

For someone with a super early-stage idea – maybe just a concept written on a napkin! – how user-friendly is fn7 Helix? Is it truly intuitive for complete beginners?

Leah Madden - AMA Capital/Finance/GTM

This is great, @shubham_pancholi! I noticed a lot of rigidity in the prototyping steps, I.e. there's no "back" or "previous question" button. Is that intentional?

Dinesh Bypilla

@leah_madden Hi Leah, thanks a lot for raising that. As of now it is intentional sadly. We'll soon be revamping the prototyping steps. Would love to connect & get your insights in shaping the initial journey. Feel free to reach out if you feel comfortable.
