Hey Product Hunt Community 🖐
I’m Hossein, a full stack developer based in Toronto, Canada. I’ve been developing premium website templates for a few years and sold over 10k licenses. Also, I made a few small web-based products in the past couple of days as well. Guess what? All of them needed a logo!
# Why?
This tool came from my own need. I’ve been building typographic logos for almost all of my products. So I made a tool to make this process super easy.
# What’s next?
Currently, I don’t have much plan to improve this product as this is enough for my personal use. Although, if I see people are using this tool frequently, I’ll add more features such as the ability to upload your own font, add an icon to sides, better font-picker, and even maybe the ability to change the color of each character separately.
Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions.
Thanks.
Really cool product. Simple and straight forward.
Because font selection is so critical, you should optimize for finding the right font. That's probably the toughest part when designing a word-mark logo.
Things like random font selection, showing multiple fonts at once. Maybe an infinite scroll that shows all the fonts in dark and light with the colours and variants you chose.
That would make it very helpful in deciding first, what font to use, and then allow the User to fine tune it with variants and colours.
Great job.
@joshuapinter That's right. Personally, I go to https://fonts.google.com/ and type my logo. Google Fonts can preview all the fonts. Once decided about my font, then I pick the font in the logo maker.
But I'd better to put this step in the logo maker as well. Since this is an important option to select, I might add a block above the preview section to preview all fonts in smaller size and click on any of them to pick the font. Also, I'd add a search input to filter fonts. Something similar to what Google Fonts has.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Awesome idea and execution, I love to use typo logo for early stage project :-)
You should add a letter spacing option, it's a smart trick to turn standard font into good looking logo ;-)
