A short talking-photo intro before the screen recording

by•

I'm on the FreeLipSync team. One way to use a talking photo is as a brief opening for a tutorial or product walkthrough, followed by the actual screen recording.

Start with a photo of yourself and a short audio introduction. FreeLipSync uses the photo and audio to generate lip movement. After generating the clip, bring it into your editor and cut to the screen demonstration when the explanation begins.

The opening only needs to say who the video is for and what viewers will learn. Keeping the instructions over the screen recording leaves more room for the product itself.

Would you use this format for a welcome message, a lesson intro, or a product update?
