Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are:
(1) launching soon or recently launched
(2) looking for beta users
(3) asking for feedback on a landing page
First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post.
Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help. ๐
Our MVP is out in the world, and we are looking for all the feedback, users, and input one can provide. It's called Podcave. The first software solution to take podcasters from planning, through publishing, into promotion in one platform. Many do some parts of this, none do all. We have relied on our founders' combined 50 years in the radio/broadcast industry - but this isn't about us. We are looking for people to help us really create the most useful software for podcasters.
@brad_nolan Sounds like a great idea. I just looked at your website. I would say it's a bit unfocused. For instance, here's what you say on top "Stop feeling overwhelmed, stop wasting time, start saving money. Wanna work smarter, not harder? Podcave." It's a bit vague. You help with podcasts, not financial advisory. So why to mention "start saving money"? What does it have to do with podcasting. On the website it says no benefits, except that it's cheaper. I don't understand what I am getting, all I know that it's cheaper. Try to focus on What your product does, how it can help. Hope that helps ๐ช
@4th_roommate This helps IMMENSELY. It's funny, we spent so much time on the features page (podcave.com/features) ... and the home page is, you're right, vague. Thank you so much for spending the time to tell me your thoughts!
@4th_roommate An easy solution would be to bring a truncated version of the features page into the home page. We've added it to our cycle. Thank you, Steve! Let me know of you need to start or improve a podcast! haha

@ksenia_shliakhtina Nice landing page! fyi, your logo looks blurry on mobile and a bit cut-off from the bottom. You can see it on chrome on osx and just reducing with window size
@awt Thank you Andrew! we are working on making it more interactive and developing a way to show some app functionality on the website, to give better & more clear understanding what's inside the actual product:)
Finding reviews that are as reliable as a friend's opinion is damn hard, we're building Gopick to make reviews easy and much more trustable forever. In this context, we have ditched the age old stars to make way for Reviews v2.0 - https://gopick.in
1.๐ฏ A new emoji based rating system.
2.๐๐ป ๐๐ป Like & dislike tags.
3.๐ Rich text reviews.
4.๐ฒ Get Social with other reviewers.
5.๐ฅ Good old Youtube Videos.

@srivatsamudumby website looks neat! It's seems like a very promising project, looking forward to see the progress!
Just as a small note: when I first read your pitch I didn't expect to see a review site for smartphones but rather something like Yelp. Not sure if that's the effect you were going for or not ๐ค
@tgel0 thanks for the awesome feedback. And you're perfectly correct about the pitch, I think I need to fit in 'mobile phones' as a part of it. Frankly we've built Gopick to review anything but preferred staying lean early on.
@srivatsamudumby I'm curious - why did you choose mobile phones as the focus of reviews? As I see it, there's no shortage of reviews of every smartphone that comes out, there are so many reviewers who cater to every audience imaginable. And, because all the phone manufacturers each have massive marketshare and even bigger marketing reach, it'll be difficult to get distribution for your platform.
I love the concept and the implementation is nice - approachable and fun yet in-depth at the same time - but I wish it was applied to a different product category/market.
We are simple helpdesk for small businesses https://helpninja.com . So far in our journey, small business customers have always stood by us and now we want to do our part to stand by them. To help them, We have removed the per-user cost and priced at $29 for the whole team. Let me know what you folks feel about this.
@sivaram636 Looks clean and intuitive! The fixed price is interesting. Are you going to cap it in case the small isn't so small business :)

@sivaram636 great use of social validation on the site! It was nice to see a review, at the first step of the sign-up flow. You might want to consider linking to your other products in your "About Us" section. For those curious about your team's capabilities, that could serve as some great validation too!
Hey PHter,
I am about to launch a new product in event technology space. We took to get this amidst current situations of global lockdown to help massively impacted Event Industry.
I need help.
1. I need someone to guide me through my first every PH launch.
2. Can someone also review our Beta product link to provide useful suggestions?
Here is link to my product: https://virtual.hubilo.com/commu...
Thanks you.
@event_marketer_archan hey I went to the website but didn't see anything that explains what you do. personally I don't think i would give my email to something without more info.
As far as launching, you can build up a subscriber list with Product Hunt Ship and then just launch!
Report
@awt hey thank you so much for your feedback. I agree to what you just said. For this very issue we published our product page. https://hubilo.com/virtual-event...
Can you also share you feedback about it?
Also, I am exploring "Product Hunt Ship". Taking that up and educating myself it.
Very much appreciate your feedback.
Keep guiding
@tonixx Hi, I like the idea! Just 2 things: the UX is a bit cumbersome, a modern autocomplete search feature would be so much nicer. Also, do you have any plans of keeping users on your site or is it just for generating a post to share on FB & co.?
@tgel0 Thx! It's just a MVP for now and will see if it catches on. If it does, I'll add simple accounts for users.
The autocomplete was the most requested feature :)
Report
@tonixx love that you're trying to give people something fun to share that's relevant right now - i didn't totally get that an image i'd share elsewhere would be the output of everything i was inputting. maybe adding some more information or graphics about that on the homepage would be helpful.
@lauren_rosenthal Thx alot! I've received the same feedback from other users ... I'm just trying to figure out how to best present that information on the homepage. I'm open to suggestions :)
Report
@tonixx i think just flat out showing what the end product would look like would be great - maybe show the same image rendered on someone's fb feed, instagram app on a phone, etc?

We're about 2 weeks away from launching a board game, Next Goal Wins on Kickstarter and would love some feedback on our Campaign page:
https://www.kickstarter.com/proj...
Next Goal Wins is a fast-paced, strategic game of team building and head to head football rivalry. Each player must assemble a squad of footballers, then use their unique skills and talents to score goals and win matches. But beware, to finish top of the league it takes talent and luck!
Report
@rcrawford2057 Great explainer video on your Kickstarter page! It's clear you've put a lot of time and thought into laying out all the details on the page but the video really brought it together for me. Plus it was fun to watch - the creativity goes a long way :)

@nxalessandro Thanks! I'm glad its easy to understand!

@nive_t Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad the video was the clincher! We really tried to be informative and funny

I'm building a collaboration hub with a knowledge sharing and support community for podcasters (https://gritly.co). The podcasting industry is quite messy. Lot's of players, catchers, platforms and shows but no dedicated platform for podcasters to connect, share information and engage with their super fans/listeners.
Currently, Facebook is the no1 destination for podcasters via groups. The user experience is really bad and most groups are shoehorning the group's features to communicate in a structured way. I've designed my product with the podcaster in mind.
- Profiles with podcasts attached( auto fetch and rendered as a post)
- Search for co-hosts based on genre and location
- Blogs to document and share your journey
- Forums for support
- Topics - Follow only what content is relevant to your genre or industry
- Chat ( Real-time chat)
- Media ( Upload your videos, make posts and share relevant content)
Overall it's a learning community for existing, new and aspiring podcasters.
We're currently in BETA.
@adrian_cole2 Hi Adrian. I just gave it a look. I think your website looks nice and modern, but I'm sure you can make the website offer more clear. Currently it says "Share your passion. Join the community!" I tells me nothing about what you do - which is podcasts. Then you have a long paragraph that starts with "Gritly is a New Social network...". People won't read such a long paragraph. So, make it shorter and don't flush center (a bit difficult to read). I hope it helps ๐ช

@4th_roommate Thank you for the feedback. Yes, The landing page needs a salon makeover. I've made notes on all the points you mentioned. I will redo in the next week. Would you mind if I ping you again for a 2nd look then?
Hi, Makers: Busy launching Friyay.io - and we need remote teams who are interested in becoming "Connected Superteams" to try it out. It's a step up from Notion because it includes a social experience - which helps everyone stay on top of activities and feel bonded. Ping me: angela@friyay.io Tx.

@friyay@notgyet13 Sounds like a cool idea. Happy to try this out with my team as beta users!
Hey Guys!
Adam here from Remote Together!
I'm creating a community and a site that helps you quickly adapt to and thrive at work & live remotely, since the coronavirus pandemic is shifting things really quick these days.
I'm in China atm, I've experienced the sudden changes and the struggles the virus brought first hand, and I painfully understand how hard it is to work remotely, especially now, all of a sudden a lot of people are forced do so.
Here's where you can learn more about it, and hear my story that motivated me to build it:
