(2) looking for beta users
(3) asking for feedback on a landing page
First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post. Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help.

I'm looking for some quick beta testing help from some people living in Europe.
I recently returned from a trip to Italy. While I was there, I noticed some issues with timezone changes in our travel app. I'm back in the US now so I can't fully test the fixes. If you could spare some time, I can send account information and some steps to follow to make sure this is working now.
The Duckwyn Project - https://www.duckwyn.com
Thank you for your help!

@cwills I'm in Lisbon, Portugal so, let me know if I can help.
Report
@gonelf Thank you!! I really appreciate the help. You can get a free account here - https://app.duckwyn.com/beta - or, if there is another way to contact you, I can send you a username and password. This is a mobile app so you'll want to login from your phone.
Once logged in (make sure you allow location access when prompted), if you could try to add a journal entry that would be great. You can do this by clicking the notebook icon at the top center of the screen. Then click on "write a note". When I tried doing this in Italy, the note would not submit because of a timezone conflict. Hopefully this is working correctly now :)
Thanks again!
-Chris
@gonelf - Thank you, I'll email the details to you shortly.

@cwills Hi, I am in Belgrade, Serbia. I've tried following the instructions you gave to @gonelf but I am not seeing the notebook icon. If you can provide me with additional instructions I would love to help you.

Hello everyone,
Every week I spend some looking for Product Requests on twitter so, I've decided to start a newsletter to share my findings weekly
Here's the page http://requestforproduct.xyz/
I'd love to know what you think and what's missing.
@gonelf It's very simple landing page. I think you can fine the layout to make it sexier but not such a big deal. Also for people who don't are not familiar with PH, you could define what's "product request".
@gonelf Here are few feedback points from me:
- http:// should redirect to https:// these days automatically (especially if people enter their personal data on your page);
- subscription confirmation has landed in my spam folder (have you confirmed the email domain with Mailchimp?)
- as you are processing personal data (emails, for marketing-like purposes), you want to have a privacy policy on the website, and have people explicitly accept it
And a question: What are your plans for business model / monetisation?
Report
@samabrika1 Yeh, I have just been hacking the page to test the concept but it can look a lot better. Sure I'll think of a funny way to explain what a product request is, do you have any suggestion on that?
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

My goal with the highest priority for this week is to get at least 100 responses for The Maker Report (https://themakerreport.com/)
So if you are a digital maker / indie hacker / developer yourself, you can help with your answers to reach this goal 🙏🏻
Oh, and I'm a bit behind with my presents for Christmas, so this is going to be a busy week 😅 Last-minute, environment-friendly present ideas are more than welcome.

Hi @feriforgacs, done! Looking forward to see the results of your report.
I'm hoping to launch by Christmas. In the mean time, I was hoping you could check out my landing page (https://fensapp.com) and give me some feedback.
Appreciate your help.

@soelost how does this work? Do you set your profile and someone can tag you as a partner or do you set your and your partners profiles? It's not clear in the page how it works. Maybe you could have a step by step on how it works. I hope it helps.
Report
@gonelf Thanks for asking!
You'd set up your profile and you'd tag your partner. If they don't have an account, you'd invite them which would create a placeholder account. Even if your partner doesn't sign up, their other partners can also tag this placeholder, which allows your partners risk to be scored and also facilitate exposure alerts between strangers with common partners.
I hope that helped. The landing page I have up took me long enough so I'm not sure how or where to put this information and whether I should put it in place of other things or in addition to.
Report
@soelost maybe you could make a short video explaining what you just explained to me because now it is very clear. You could place this video where you have the first image. I hope it helps.
Report
@gonelf I thought of putting a video there but didn't know what kind so thanks. Can you check once more and let me know if the how it works link does a good job for now?
Report
@soelost It's better but I think it would make much sense to have that "how it works" in the main page, right below the "features" block. Why should I go to another page to understand how it works? That's what will convince me to join IMO

Hi all,
We recently launched a new version of our online service, it is still in beta and we are looking for more beta users.
Docstell is a content collaboration software that let's you document requirements, system specifications and processes in a super efficient new way. The built in Draw.io editor lets you easily add and edit diagrams with minimum friction which is a huge time saver.
The information is structured in a flexible hierarchy, much like Workflowy, that makes it very convenient and intuitive to easily produce and consume documentation.
You can communicate with your team without the need to explain a lot of details since you always put the information exactly where it belongs, in the right context.

Every kind of feedback is very much appreciated.

@zailoor Hi, I didn't test your product but from the video I have one question/suggestion. Do you have documentation templates so people don't start in a white board? maybe a simple one could help people to understand all features that they could use.
I hope this helps.
Hello makers, today i have launched a very simple voice recording web app (https://audiotools.app) . If you are recording a narration this tool embraces fumbles and mistakes, you just need to pause and resume to retake, once done just trim the audio sections and download the final output.
This tool lays out audio sections vertically to easily navigate the recorded audio.
You can see this 30 sec video to understand the flow. (https://youtu.be/t0MXxmU23MA)
Would love to know what you think.
PS: Works on Android chrome, Desktop Chrome and Firefox. (iOS not supported)

@atul_shukla It's so simple and to the point. Nice!
Here's a new weapon to use in our never-ending war against procrastination: CheckWise.
☑️ CheckWise is for those who manage their own time. It gives you a real human supervisor that will make sure that you don't waste time and that you actually complete your to-do list.
Why? Because we've all tried a few productivity apps, but I assure you that nothing kills procrastination like direct and personalized human accountability does.
Feedback from you hunters is very important to me. Because of this, I've opened a 3-day free trial for a limited time. I invite you to try it out, and in exchange, I'd love to hear your honest feedback.

Hello Makers!
Thank you @abadesi
Please take a second and checkout www.ringnbring.com
After much feedback from you, we have worked on a better and improved website!
Let me know what you all think!
@abadesi@walid_shaar There is a lot of animations, which makes the website slow to load and penalise your SEO performance. I would recommend to use static images whenever you can to make it lighter.
Report
@abadesi@samabrika1 Thank you for your feedback! We realized that people visiting out page are not getting a clear picture. We figured a cute animation would make things clearer
@abadesi@walid_shaar Usually when people don't understand the product, you need to change the wording or design. Adding animation rarely solves it :)
Report
@abadesi@samabrika1 We definitely changed the whole wording style (Emphasizing on the Header) aswell
Report
@walid_shaar It's a nice website but it took some time to load. Still, having that animation did really help me understand exactly what your product does in less than a minute so well done. I like that you have your own device, but if we look past the device what is the difference between using Ring and bring and sending a message? Is there additional benefit?

Hello, we are building an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning based product for evaluating writing and speaking.
Right now it's in the prototype version. The idea is to help students and teachers to quickly identify the strengths and weakness of the students and then provide customized study plans.
Here is the link - https://accioibis.herokuapp.com/
Your feedback will be highly appreciated. The service is completely free and we will welcome any product suggestions and features to add to the next version.
I’m building a tool to help teams achieve their goals through easy goal tracking and performance management.

I'd really appreciate feedback on how well the landing page is communicating this, and also if you are in a team struggling with alignment, sign up and I'd love to help solve that with Wangll. Thanks! 🙏🏾
@tabansi Looks cool but I am not sure why I should sign up. There are a lot of promises but personally as a user I'd like to see an example. Just my 2 cents. Great work though I bet most of the effort is spent on the app itself. I do like the design, it looks good and flows well. Would be killer with some product demos or abstract visual examples of how it works and why I should use it. :)
@tabansi Website looks cool. From a UI perspective you could try to change the yellow color in your illustrations to your purple accent color that you are using on the rest of the website. This might make it look cleaner. I would also show a screenshot or demo video of the app itself. Showing the product will give visitors a clearer picture.
@ipgregor Thanks a lot! I'll try out changing the accent colour. You're right about the screenshots, I'm working on those now.
Report
@tabansi I like the idea but I would like to see some sneak peak and examples. Your website is telling me that your product will help me but not how it will do it. I hope that by submitting my email I will get a chance to try it out even if it's still in beta. I have tried similar products before but I never really started using any as they would require a lot of work to set up, they cost a lot of money or they are complicated to use. I would like to see how Wangll compares to other :)
