I know people who never miss an email, even on a Saturday night.
And I know others who won’t even open their inbox until Monday morning – no matter what.
I try to strike a balance. I’m not glued to my inbox on weekends, but if something feels important, I’ll reply.
What about you?
Are you team “always responsive” or “strict weekend boundaries”?

Definitely in the ‘strategic responsiveness’ camp weekends are sacred, but if something genuinely moves the needle, I don’t mind leaning in. It’s all about not letting the inbox dictate your time while staying open to what matters. Respect to both the inbox warriors and the boundary enforcers.

@vivek_sharma_25 Absolutely, my view is the same. Everyone should decide for themselves. I believe there are positives to both approaches.

I try to keep weekends email-free, but I do check in if something seems important. It’s all about finding a healthy balance without burning out.
I try not to check the work-related emails on the weekend, but I usually take the time on Sunday evenings to read the one folder with all the digests and main updates from the week. Really useful to always keep track of what is happening in the sphere, but also doesn't take too much of my working time!

@dariawind Good strategy. If you don’t check, Monday can turn into a nightmare.
@byalexai Trick question, haha, well it's depend on my mood actually.

I’m the same—I like to keep weekends mostly email-free, but I’ll respond if something urgent comes through. It’s all about finding that healthy balance! 티비위키
I try to live somewhere in between. I’m not always on, but I do check in — especially if something feels time-sensitive or tied to a live launch. Building Growstack taught me that responsiveness builds trust, but burnout kills momentum.
That’s also why we’ve automated a lot of our routine email replies using Growstack — so I can step back on weekends without worrying that something important gets ignored. It lets me keep boundaries without dropping the ball.
So yeah, not glued to the inbox — but I don’t ghost it either.

Never. I believe everyone needs their own space on weekends.

Only if it's urgent or time-sensitive.
@lucytaylor01 how can you tell if it's urgent?
