Ever built a productivity setup that just felt like extra work?

I remember setting up this massive notion workspace with heaps of databases, tags, and weekly trackers.

It looked awesome at first but after a week or two updating the whole thing took more time than doing actual tasks. Eventually I just gave up and went back to writing things down on a quick sticky note.

Curious if anyone else overbuilt their todo system and ended up throwing it away?
