The story behind Fika - which is a female-focused dating app in Asia is that our CEO (Denise) was adopted from Vietnam to Sweden and she came back looking for her biological mother. And thanks to a viral Facebook post she managed to find her mother after only 18 days, after being in Vietnam multiple times. This made her want to give back to the hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese people who helped her, and that's why Fika (fikaconnects.com) was created, a dating app to connect people genuinely. The short term goal is to become the Bumble of Asia, focusing on safety and genuine connections. The long-term goal however is to create a place where people can connect regardless if they're looking for a romantic relationship, friends or networking. In fact, almost 50% of all Vietnamese are on dating apps to find friends and connections and not romantic relationships, so moving in that direction makes a lot of sense for us long term! We are now re-launching Fika on 11/11 (long story to the re-launch), and we are very excited to show the world the greatest comeback in history!

After migrating my main system from Ubuntu to Mac, I always wanted to find a clipboard manager that works like it does on Ubuntu: press a shortcut key and the system displays a simple list of 5 records for me to choose from, and I can simply press a number to select. However, I tried many apps on macOS but none of them could achieve this. They either display too much unnecessary content on the UI or the prompt box is far away from the input box. These apps couldn't satisfy me, so I built CleanClip (https://cleanclip.cc Launching soon! yeah!!) - a clipboard history tool with a super minimalist interface. Additionally, it always appears near my input position. It's perfect for me!
