Has anyone tried voice-to-text apps that actually work well?

I'm constantly recording voice memos but never actually use them because the transcriptions are

always messy and full of "ums" and incomplete thoughts.

Thinking about building something that:

• Records voice in browser

• Uses AI to clean up the transcription (not just grammar, but restructuring rambling speech into organized notes)

• Syncs to Notion automatically

Example: "um so like we need to figure out the database thing and maybe look at caching" → "Action items: 1) Design database schema 2) Evaluate caching"

Questions for the community:

Do you actually use voice memos?

What's your current workflow?

What stops you from transcribing voice recordings?

Would AI rewriting feel too invasive or helpful?

Trying to figure out if this is a real problem worth solving or just my personal quirk 🤔
