Hey there!
I need your help: my MacBook pro was used to a very tempered climate (aka π§ weather) but I recently moved to a warmer region and it's clear that my laptop is not enjoying it at all.
How do you keep your laptop from turning into a helicopter on fire?
All recommendations welcomed (except the ones suggesting a new laptop π)
Thank you!

I switch for a mac with the M1 and I don't have this problem anymore !
Once I left my laptop in the trunk of my friend's car. It was midsummer and 40 degrees outside, and it got so hot when I took it out like a pan. So the only thing that helped was putting it in the fridge for 2 hours.
Haha=) I'm working under the AC in co-working space)

I live in Algiers, it gets pretty hot in the summer you really can't do much without AC.
I use a laptop stand with a built-in fan to help the air flow, when i don't have that with me i put whatever is at hand between the hinge to elevate my MBP it doesn't do miracles but it definitely helps.
Best thing you can do is cool the whole room with an AC.

Same problem here! I was thinking about: taking holidays ππ΄
Cntrl-alt-delete purely helps in regulating machine temperature in windows.
Or else we can always pop its hood open and blow some cool air into its vent. Hahaha
Practical way:
But a laptop cooling pad
Work on air conditioned environment
Diagnost laptop fan function
Clean laptop Air vents regularly
Shut down your computer when you are not using it.
Final solution
Buy an I-pad
